NOTE THIS INFORMATION REFERS TO OUR REGULAR ARRANGEMENTS, PLEASE CONTACT THE SCHOOL OFFICE FOR INFORMATION ABOUT CHANGES TO THESE DETAILS DURING COVID RESTRICTIONS

Unless special arrangements have been made, children should arrive at school between 8.45 am and 8.55 am. We would ask parents to try not to have children waiting in the playground too early, especially in cold or wet weather, as the school doors are not opened until 8.45 am. Arriving ten minutes before school begins is early enough. Infant pupils go straight into school at the start of the day. Children in Robin and Wren Classes enter and leave school via the KS1 Cloakroom, whilst those in Magpie, Puffin and Owl Classes use the KS2 Cloakroom.

At the beginning and end of the school day, parents are encouraged into the playground. This helps to build up a close relationship between home and school – we want to have good links with all parents. If normal arrangements have to be altered (e.g. you are delayed or another person is collecting your child) please let us know. This avoids any confusion or upset.

To get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option! There are lots of benefits: it’s healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations.
