Dear Parent,

Live Kitchen will soon become SchoolGrid

We have outgrown our 'Live Kitchen' brand, as we now offer a range of features not related to catering, and have decided to change our brand to 'SchoolGrid' on 22nd May 2019.

Please be aware we are still the same company the only change taking place is simply our name.  You can continue to use our website, at the regular web address, the same way you always have.

Please be assured that you do not need to take any action at this time.

However, should you have any queries about this change please contact our Support Team on 01506 300310.

Best Regards,
The Live Kitchen (soon to be SchoolGrid!) Team

In September 2017 we changed our school meals provider. We have teamed up with Dolce (live-kitchen) providing a cashless catering system. Being one of the first schools in the area to use this company. Instead of paying for dinners in cash you are able to pay for them on line.  The company offers you the option to pay for your child's school meals cashless by Direct Debit.  This can save a lot of time and hassle hunting for dinner money in the morning and operates in a post payment system. Just give your email address to the school office to get a Live Kitchen account.  You will receive an email from them containing your login details and a link to the website.  For any queries/information, please do not hesitate to contact the school office. 01652 654322

Children stay at school over lunch and have either a hot dinner or bring a packed lunch.

Children who have school dinners are provided with a well balanced meal that is prepared within the government guidelines for nutritional and dietary needs. Whilst ensuring that the meals are healthy, we talk with the children and school council in order to adapt the menu to suit their preferences wherever possible. Water is available for drinks.

The fruit and vegetables are fresh and are cooked on the day of use in our own kitchen. A self-service salad bar is available for children having a school meal. Children can help themselves to cucumber, tomato, sweet corn, coleslaw etc.

Children bringing packed lunches are encouraged to choose a healthy option. Please ensure that packed lunches do not contain sweets, class bottles or thermos flasks. We request that parents ensure that packed lunches are packed in a strong container which is labelled with the child's name.

Free school meals are available to some children according to family income. It's important to register for entitlement to free school meals, even though your child may have a packed lunch, this is so we can review additional funding (pupil premium) which we can use to help your child.

To find out if your child qualifies for free school meals, and for any help or advice, contact North Lincolnshire Council, or click here to complete on line application.
