We are extremely proud to announce on Friday 18 March our students raised £1925.40.
We think our students are incredible. Scawby Academy held its very own Race for Life event for Cancer Research UK. The event was a great success. All students were able to take part and enjoyed themselves immensely. The sense of achievement pupils felt when getting their medal at the finish line was amazing to witness.
They are the generation that could see groundbreaking treatments and cures for cancer in their lifetime. They could be the researchers and lifesavers of tomorrow. By taking part in Race for Life and uniting together against cancer, they have done something really special. Cancer Research UK receives no government funding for their research, so the more of us who join the fight against cancer, the more money we can raise to beat cancer sooner.
